[W1] CHAPTER VIII — Kodama No Mori 木霊の森
CHAPTER VIII
Kodama No Mori 木霊の森
The forest has never existed.
It was nothing more than an old concept
rooted deep within his very being.
A way of pleading with himself.
Every blow, every cry, every failure preserved
something of what had happened there before.
The world may change, but the memory
of the trees always remains.
It is not something born from the forest,
but something the forest had trapped
and had no intention of letting escape.
The echo remains, even when the tree
is no longer there.
